After 67-62 loss to Purdue, Weber says he has 'mollycoddled' players too much

"The last three years all I did was worry about winning instead of developing a culture and a toughness," he said. "We're always mollycoddling them."

Weber criticized Leonard's poor body language, which has been a problem all season. He scored nine points with 12 rebounds against Purdue (17-9, 7-6) but most of his production came in the second half after Weber threatened to sideline him.

"It's not fair to him," Weber said. "It's not fair to us. It's not fair to his teammates."
