Conseco Fieldhouse was feeling the orange as Illinois dispatched Gonzaga with a furious first half torrent of forced turnovers and three-point devastation. The final score at the John Wooden Tradition was 89-72, but, as they like to say, it wasn't even that close.
Conseco Fieldhouse is a beauty of a modern basketball arena. Should anyone find themselves leading a design team for a new basketball building at a large public university (ahem), please do take some inspiration from the Indianapolis facility.
