Pounded Again

Another week, another blowout. Against Ohio State's solid D, QB Tim Brasic was in a horror show menagerie of sacks, punishing hits after getting flushed downfield...essentially running for his life at all times. On those rare occasions when there was brief moments of protection, he could find no open receiver. The defense did good early, but eventually wore out due to field position devastation and big-play speed demons. Kevin Mitchell brought the scoring by converting a muffed PAT all the way to the other end zone. Up next: the disappointing 3-6 Boilermakers. Filed under: Illini Football, Ohio State Buckeyes
