Frustration, and Progress

The loosing streak hits 3 as Illinois lost at Penn St. Saturday 26-12. The Illini had a huge advantage in total yards (358 - 184) and allowed the Nittany Lions only 10 points on offense. Rashard Mendenhall had an outstanding game with 161 yards rushing. The difference came in turnovers, defensive and special teams runbacks, and a painful 2-of-14 conversion on 3rd downs. The Illini receivers had a terrible case of the drops on too many crucial 3rd downs. Next up, the road swing continues with a trip to Madison this weekend.
