Jackson St. jumped out 18-4 on a depleted Illinois squad Wednesday night. The Illini were without the services of 3 starters: Jamar Smith is out 4-6 weeks with a high ankle sprain, Brian Randle is resting a re-tweaked groin, and Rich McBride is still serving out his suspension. Illinois clawed back to tie the game at the half and went on to win 76-55. Chester Frazier and Trent Meacham played all 40 minutes, while Calvin Brock (38) and Warren Carter (37) posted career-high floor time. Recap. Thread.
