Illini Handle Northwestern

After a long week coping with "The Wreck", "The Blizzard", and "The Chief Announcement," it was refreshing to finally watch the Illini men's basketball team take the court. It wasn't pretty, but Illinois got the job done today against Northwestern, 48-37. Rich McBride led the way with 15 points (5-10 3pt), which is exactly how many points the Wildcats scored in the entire 2nd half.
