Hawkeyes Stuff Illini

The 5-game winning streak is toast as Illinois falls flat at Iowa, 10-6. The offense that came in averaging 28 points per game in Big Ten play was held to just 2 field goals, and quarterback Juice Williams was replaced by Eddie McGee in the 4th quarter. McGee drove the Illini down to the red zone in the final minutes in a comeback bid but was intercepted at the goal line.
