Yes it happened, Illinois lost to Tennessee State on Sunday, 60-58. Trent Meacham had 24 points for the Illini, who suffered probably their worse non-conference loss at the Assembly Hall ever. Recap. Game thread.

Brian Randle was inadvertently struck in the face by a MTS player. As Randle began to fall back the MTS player landed on Randles foot causing him to fall back awkwardly, striking his head on the floor. After laying on the floor motionless for a few moments Randle was attended to by trainer Al Martindale. After a few minutes Randle still wobbly left the court with Martindale and strength coach Jimmy Price.
Shaun Pruitt gets fouled with 9 seconds left in the game. With the Illini trailing 59-58, Pruitt would miss both free throws.
Mike Tisdale puts up a three pointer with 0.7 seconds left in the game.
