Frazier's Layup sends Illinois to Quarterfinals to Face Purdue

Chester Frazier hit a reverse layup off a pass from Trent Meacham with 3 seconds left to give Illinois a win over Penn St 64-63 in the Big Ten Tournament. It was the first points for the Illini in almost 5 minutes during which PSU fought back from a 10-point deficit, and it appeared that Illinois would go down in yet another lackluster late-game performance before the final play. Brian Randle led the way with 17 points. Up next for the Illini in the BTT is Purdue Friday at 5:30pm. Recap. Game thread.
