Camp Rantoul practice starts Monday

Ranked in the preseason for the first time since 2002 - Illinois was No. 19 in the coaches' poll released Friday - the Illini are seeking back-to-back winning seasons for the first time in 18 years and consecutive bowl trips for the first time in 16 years.

Coming off a 9-4 record overall and a 6-2 mark in the Big Ten Conference, including an upset at No. 1 Ohio State, Illinois football is becoming a tough ticket. The season opener against Missouri in St. Louis is sold out. Two more Illinois home games are sold out. Two others have only limited tickets.

Camp Rantoul begins with split practice sessions Monday.
