The August 16 scrimmage at Memorial Stadium will be closed to the public

The Illini football team will have a day away from Rantoul on Saturday, August 16, and scrimmage in Memorial Stadium. The scrimmage is set to be a "test run" of the new stadium, but will be closed to the public due to construction.

Here's an idea. Open the North End Zone to the public for the scrimmage. With only 5,000 tickets available, sell them at $10 a pop, make a decent chunk of change without the fans getting in the way of any of the construction (including the construction going on in NEZ lower level).
