2008-09 Illini basketball schedule announced

The U of I men's basketball schedule was released yesterday. Non-conference opponents include Georgia (United Center), Hawaii, Clemson, Vanderbilt, and Missouri in the annual Border War. The Orange and Blue Scrimmage will be held Sunday, Oct 26. In the 18-game Big Ten schedule, Illinois does not play Northwestern at home or Iowa on the road.
