Illinois
Mike Tisdale, the 7-foot-1 sophomore who projects to be the starting center this season at Illinois, underwent a minor leg surgery this morning.

The surgery was to repair a muscle hernia in his right leg, according to a UI athletics spokesman. He's expected to be sidelined three-to-four weeks, or about three weeks before the Nov. 14 season opener against Eastern Washington.
