Cubit alters expectation for ground game to fit Illini

"Third-and-still-manageable."

That's what Western Michigan University's football coach is hoping his running game can manufacture Saturday against a vaunted Illinois defensive line.

The Broncos struggled to run the ball most of October -- combining for 137 yards rushing on 66 attempts in road games against Temple, Buffalo and Central Michigan -- before racking up 163 on 35 carries last Saturday vs. Eastern Michigan.
