Clemson reportedly interviewed Illini's Locksley for coaching opening

Clemson
TigerIllustrated.com reported Thursday that Illinois offensive coordinator Mike Locksley interviewed with Clemson athletic director Terry Don Phillips on Nov. 7 - the night before Clemson's game with Florida State - in Dearborn, Mich., a suburb of Detroit.

Locksley, in his fourth season as the Illini OC, is believed to be the fourth coach to interview with Phillips. He joins former Oakland Raiders coach Lane Kiffin, Oklahoma defensive coordinator Brent Venables and Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster.
