New offensive line coach: Houston's Joe Gilbert

Gilbert, who turns 44 on Thursday, spent one season with the Cougars, helping Kevin Sumlin's team to a win against Air Force in the Armed Services Bowl.

The Cougars finished second in the nation in total offense, averaging 563 yards per game. Houston was second in passing offense and 10th in scoring offense.
