On Saturday, when Trent Meacham and Demetri McCamey went 1 for 16, the Illini couldn't overcome it.
But Tuesday, when Meacham and Alex Legion struggled with their shots (1 of 11), the UI attackers threw the Ohio State zone out of kilter with man and ball movement, and the inside trio of Mike Tisdale, Dominique Keller and Davis converted 15 of 23 fielders.
Piling it on, Chester Frazier bagged both of his three-point attempts, Demetri McCamey dished out seven assists with 13 points and Calvin Brock once again came off the bench to ignite the Illini with five of the team's 13 steals.
