Trent Meacham's diary

The best part of this Illinois TEAM is by far the unselfishness we're playing with. It's an awesome stat to lead the nation in assists per made bucket. We may not have one guy who's going to get you 20 every night, but we have a lot of guys who can step up and carry the load for the night. It's fun playing when everyone is looking to make the extra pass, and I know everyone can see the difference this year. It's amazing to live in this community and feel all the support people have for us. Thinking of people like Mr. Wright who take the time to help us and really want to see us do well ... it means a lot to everyone, and it's one of those things that make this program, this university and this community special.
