Weber's got his eye on sophomore Bill Cole

Illinois coach Bruce Weber hasn't given up on a contribution from sophomore forward Bill Cole in the season's stretch run.
After Cole earned the opportunity for playing time with his improvement in practice and positive work ethic, he logged a quick two minutes in the first half in the 65-52 win at Indiana, and Weber hinted there might be more to come.
"I don't know if he's loose and free,'' Weber said. "He's playing much better in practice. He's having a great attitude. We do some mini-practices (before the regular workout). He's continued to do well in those. I told him, 'It hasn't gone unnoticed. I'm not promising playing time, but if we get the opportunity to use you, you've definitely got yourself where you deserve a look and a continued look.' ''
