Illini hoping to be more productive offensively against Ohio St.

With the NCAA Tournament fast approaching, neither coach wants to leave anything to chance. Any victory in these final two weeks could help when the selection committee decides which at-large teams will make the field and how they should be seeded. That places added emphasis on Sunday's game between the Illini and Buckeyes at Value City Arena.

Despite being ranked 18th in the country and having 21 victories in the bank, Illini coach Bruce Weber thinks his team still has work to do.

"I think we have to finish out some more games," Weber said. "There could be a big lump in the middle (of the Big Ten standings) and I don't want to get into that mix.

"I gave our team a goal of 24 wins early on, which will be tough but it's possible. I'd sure feel comfortable at 23 or 24."
