Big man just keeps growing

Tisdale bounced back from a slow start by scoring 13 of his 15 points in the second half, when the Spartans couldn't stop the 7-foot-1, 235-pounder's old-school hook shot.

Yet the biggest growth spurt came from Tisdale's ability to shake off a bad half and play with confidence.

"I texted him last night after the game," Weber said. "I was really proud. In the first half, he struggled and was hanging his head. We challenged him to get down on the block and get your hook."
