Tisdale's growing up

Another year might have meant another 15 or 20 pounds and corresponding muscle for Illinois' 7-1, 235-pound sophomore center, who's seven months younger than any other Illini who plays regularly.

''He probably should be a freshman,'' said coach Bruce Weber, who dropped early redshirt plans last year because Tisdale was skilled and hungry and needed, even if his body wasn't ready. ''He's young, and physically, he has a long way to go.''
