After stumbles, Illinois basketball looking for strong Big Ten tournament play

This isn't the way Illinois had planned to be playing heading into the postseason. The Illini will travel to the Big Ten tournament in Indianapolis trying to break their first two-game losing streak of the season.

"You have to prove to everybody you can win in tough situations, and we have a tough situation right now," said point guard Demetri McCamey, the Illini's leading scorer at 11.9 points per game. "You lose one in the Big Ten and you're done; lose one in the NCAA and you're done. That's possibly two games [left] in the season, and we don't want our seniors to go out like that."
