Football recruit Tommie Hopkins injured in shooting

High school track and football star Tommie Hopkins says he has no idea why someone would want to shoot, and wonders whether he was just a random victim

Hopkins, 17, a student and stand-out sports star at East St. Louis Senior High, was sitting in his car early Monday morning-in the 1700 block of Russell Avenue when his car was hit by random gunfire.
