Jerrance Howard approached by Memphis

Howard said he was contacted by Memphis head coach Josh Pastner and offered the position of associate head coach. Pastner reportedly is in the process of filling out his Memphis staff after being hired about two weeks ago.

After mulling the opportunity for several days, Howard said Wednesday, "I'm staying here (at Illinois)."
