Xavier Fulton, Will Davis selected on second day

While driving around Champaign on Sunday, Will Davis accidentally struck a cardinal with his car. He looked to his girlfriend, who was riding with him, and wondered if that was a sign of things to come.

Coincidentally, the Arizona Cardinals made him a part of their team a few hours after the incident, selecting the former Illinois defensive end with the 31st pick in the sixth round (204th overall) of the NFL draft.
