Egwu learning fast

Egwu's rapid development was on display Monday at the Illinois satellite team camp held at Chicago's Moody Bible Institute. A rising junior at Chicago St. Ignatius, Egwu showed off a consistent 15-foot jumper - released high above the outstretched hand of a defender - another element of his game that wasn't there, say, six months ago.

"The jump shot is new," said St. Ignatius coach Rich Kehoe. "Well, the jump shot is something he did have, but he's shooting it with a great deal of accuracy."
