Mike Schultz - 'Not my first rodeo'

"We have to have great ball security and a sense of urgency," Schultz said. "If we throw the ball out of bounds on third down, that's better than turning it over. If you look at our turnover tape, we have to get better down field. We broke long runs, but people came up and stripped us. It's got to be a habit."

Said Williams, who threw 16 interceptions last season: "Coach Schultz is more focused on turnovers."

Otherwise, Schultz prefers the element of surprise. Opposing defenses aren't quite sure in which direction he will take the offense with his own personality on play-calling. He doesn't plan on giving any hints in Camp Rantoul.

"There's still that question out there, 'Are they going to do this or that?'" Schultz said. "I want to keep it like that. The fact still remains that they don't know. There's no doubt that I would be looking at (TCU) film."
