Offense strikes with big plays

There was Juice Williams' 91-yard touchdown connection to Jeff Cumberland. He went in the air to steal the ball from Asante Williams, caught it at the 48, then blew into the end zone.

There was the 43-yard slant pass to Jarred Fayson, and his stiff arm that helped fight off a defender on his way to the end zone.

There was a pass of more than 40 yards from freshman QB Nathan Scheelhaase to Cordale Scott.

And there was Daniel Dufrene's 80-yard touchdown run on the very first play of the night. That should have put Dufrene in great graces with the coaches, but his later fumble was the only turnover of the night and they noticed that just as much as they noticed the long touchdown run.
