Illini look the fools

But after Missouri kicked Illinois all around the Edward Jones Dome 37-9 Saturday, I wonder why the Illini didn't just spend the summer golfing, going to concerts and chasing co-eds. Because there was not one shred of evidence to suggest this team has improved at any aspect of football.
Illinois laid an egg so big it could not be rolled under the Gateway Arch. The offense, which seemed to have different themes for various drives (the two-quarterback drive, the power-run drive, the spread-option drive, etc.), sputtered along and produced all of three points until the fourth quarter.
