Troy Pollard may get ball more for Illinois

While his style may look like a scalp liability, running back Troy Pollard said the long dreadlocks that earned him the nickname "Bucket of Hair" from Illinois coach Ron Zook don't get in the way.

A Missouri defender gave them a yank last week, but not enough to pull one out or pull him down.

"It didn't hurt," Pollard said.
