Q: What's the feeling in the locker room?
A: Some players, like tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, couldn't get over the team's lack of energy against Missouri and the blowout loss to the Tigers. But the Illini try to look forward rather than dwell in the past.
Receiver Jarred Fayson said the Illini "put (the Missouri debacle) behind us. We're moving on. It was a loss, but we we put behind us, and we're moving on."
Even if the Illini couldn't win back fans with a victory over the Redbirds, they could help soothe their aching ego.
