Crandall Head may miss his senior year (ACL)

Rich South's Crandall Head has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will likely not play basketball this season.

"It happened back in July in Las Vegas," said Bo Delaney, Head's stepfather. "He took it lightly and didn't get to the doctor right away, that's what I'm most upset about. He could have been a lot further along in the rehab process right now."

Head will have surgery on Sept. 29 and is expected to be sidelined for 4 to 6 months.
