Williams, Benn together again for Illini offense
September 22, 2009 7:45 AM
"I went down in the Missouri game,'' Benn said. "He went down in the Illinois State game. We haven't had a chance to really play together. We're going to work hard this week, work extra after practice to get a rhythm back.''
Benn wants the offense to live up to expectations and "do the things we're capable,'' he said. "Throwing downfield, running the ball, doing the things we know we can do and things we did in (preseason) camp. It's a chance for everyone to get out there 100 percent, the whole offense together. Juice and I will be playing (together) the first time since we both had injuries. We're looking forward to it.''
