Illini feel turnaround depends on the little things

"Little things, a play here or there and we're in that game," defensive tackle Josh Brent said. "Whether media or fans think so, we're in that game with a couple of plays going a different way. ... It was just small things."
Despite the myriad woes, Zook insists the trouble spots can be corrected in time to turn around a season that started with Illinois expected to return to the bowl picture.
"We're going to be OK. We've got to get it done," Zook said. "We've got to get it done now. We can't wait. The players understand the sense of urgency, the coaches understand and I promise you, I do."
