Weber wants team to 'Rise up'
October 13, 2009 7:40 PM
As for the upcoming season, Weber has been telling the team that the goal for this season is "rising up," a proclamation that will appear on the basketball poster as well. The goal is to take the game to the next level. Last year the team went further than expected, and Weber would like to continue to rise up to the challenge this year and make it even further. Trent Meacham and Chester Frazier brought leadership to the team, while Calvin Brock brought energy. Weber has challenged the remaining team members to match this enthusiasm. Weber admits the team has more talent this year, but if there is no one to lead the way then it won't matter. Weber also emphasized "blue collar and orange pride." He said: "If you're gong to win you have to be tough and blue collar and have a pride in the program."
