Basketball team feels pressure to cheer up fans

"There's definitely more pressure on us,'' said senior forward Dominique Keller. "They're disappointed with the football team. There are a lot of guys counting on us. We can't go out there and mess up. We have to win. In sports, somebody is losing. Fans here demand winning.''

Illinois coach Bruce Weber and his Illini routinely serve as the painkiller following a rough football season. The expectation is that they'll do it again.
