D.J. Richardson aims for Matto title

All three of his turnovers came before intermission. More than his scoring (14 points on 5-for-8 shooting) and defense (three steals), coaches wanted to see Richardson take care of the ball and value possessions.

"I feel a lot more comfortable at the 2 (shooting guard)," Richardson said. "I feel comfortable at the 1, but I think I have a better chance of getting my teammates open to score when I'm at the 2. When I started getting the ball to Dominique Keller (12 points), that's when I started getting my points."
