Illinois will not play SIU at SIU

Hey, SIU fans. Illinois coach Bruce Weber said Monday that you can forget about Illinois making a trip to the SIU Arena. Not going to happen. If Southern Illinois wants to play the Illini, c'mon up to Assembly Hall.

While Weber has talked about playing his former team ever since he left Carbondale, a series hasn't materialized. The best chance for the Salukis -- or any other state school -- is to schedule a game against Illinois in Assembly Hall.
