McCamey tries harder, scores 21; Illini now 4-0

Nobody stepped up more than point guard Demetri McCamey. Just one game after being shown the bench by coach Bruce Weber for failing to box out, McCamey led Illinois with a season-high 21 points. He also had four rebounds, four assists and two steals.
''It's just a matter of giving it your all game in and game out,'' McCamey said. ''[Weber] doesn't care about mistakes, or how many turnovers you have. He just wants you to go out and play 110 percent.''
