LeShoure looking ahead
December 5, 2009 10:01 PM
It was like high school all over again for Mikel Leshoure. A low number of carries. And a big number of yards.
Eleven runs for 184 yards and two touchdowns. Plus a 22-yard touchdown catch that gave Illinois the lead in the fourth quarter.
"It feels good to have one of those days again," Leshoure said. "Things opened up for me and I took advantage of what we had. I've just got to keep going. You're not going to have big runs every carry you get. You've got to keep pounding and eventually something will pop."
