Tisdale's 31 vs NU comes after prod from dad

After one game recently, Mike Tisdale's father, Mike Sr., pulled aside Illinois associate head coach Wayne McClain and gave him a message -- be a little harder on my son.
Tisdale had not been much of a factor in Illinois' most recent games, but the message got through to him Wednesday night when he scored a career-high 31 points in the Illini's 89-83 overtime victory over Northwestern.
