Loss mirrors Illini season so far

The lifeless start and an inability to defend the post put the Illini in a bad spot.
"(The NCAAs) are definitely on our minds," said Illini forward Dominique Keller, who came off the bench to post career highs of 22 points, nine rebounds and 34 minutes. "The bigger goal is surviving the schedule. If we don't survive the schedule, there won't be any NCAA tournament. In these first 14 games, we haven't shown people how good we are. I feel like there's time to turn it around."
