"Our guys were a little bit the deer-in-the-headlights look," Illinois coach Bruce Weber said. "We weren't responding to the physicality of the game. We kept it close. That gave us a chance.
"It didn't look very good. Sadly, we've been in this spot many times before. We've been down 23 and 21, so I guess we do keep our poise. It's a little tougher to do on the road."
