Cole looks for lost shot after joining lineup

Cole has worked his way into the starting lineup this season by reworking his game into scoring well on the Matto hustle chart, but he has struggled to find his shooting touch. As Illinois (11-5 overall, 3-0 in the Big Ten) prepared to host Penn State (8-7, 0-3) at 8 p.m. today (Big Ten Network), the 6-foot-9 junior put up extra shots before practice and remained patient.

"I'm not really worried about it," Cole said. "I'm almost positive my offense will come. I'm not trying to force something up. There are signs. I hit two 3s against Northwestern. I had nine points against Western Michigan (and Northwestern). I know it's still there. We have so many guys who can score on this team, it's not my job."
