Illini-PSU day after thoughts

It's been prematurely said before, but I think were starting to see the light bulb go on in the head of DMac, he seems to want it more, he's been quicker to the ball on defense, fighting harder through screens and seems to have an all around better court presence. I still think he took some ill-advised shots last night (that he made), but in the end it was probably just him realizing that launching a deep 3 was a good as anything else we could muster.
Tisdale also, continues to improve with more consistent defensive efforts, less fouling and finding ways to insert himself into the game. He is due for a regression game, which has been his MO after stringing together a couple nice performances, so it will interesting to see how he performs against MSU. I suspect he picks up a flurry of early blocking fouls being late to help on dribble penetration, hope I'm wrong.
