Learning how to move without the ball to get open shots

The "playing pieces" for Weber's motion aren't there at least right now. Weber needs wing guards like E'twaun Moore for his motion. Moore is multi-dimensional. He can run the baseline and curl off screens, catch and nail jump shots, yet is athletic enough to also drive and stop/pop if defenders start closing out aggressively on his catch-and-shoot opportunities. He reminds me somewhat of Lu Head.

Weber is hoping Paul will fill the Luther/E'twaun role, but right now Paul looks lost in the motion, not surprising for frosh in the motion. His Warren HS teams didn't run motion. He just waited for them to pass him the ball and he created most of his points on his own off the dribble or simply catching a pass on the wing or at the top of the key and firing. A lot of HS stars struggle initially learning how to move without the ball to get open for shots.
