The situation

In the remaining schedule of 12 games, 7 are on the road, of which all but Iowa and NW have either beaten us already or beat us there last year. Not easy wins at all. Going 5-2 through that deserves a parade. Add to that, 5 remaining home games, 2 against ranked teams.
Being extremely generous, we go 7-5 from here out. That's 19-12. With the few good wins we have being extremely outweighed by the more bad losses, absolutely no way on Earth does that make the NCAA tournament. 22-9 and they're on the bubble. They'd have to win 10 of these next 12 to do that. Want to bet on that?
