Purdue got back on track against Illini after Matt Painter's halftime speech

Illinois was getting prepared to defend its halftime lead against Purdue in Champaign last month when the Illini were treated to a bit of Matt Painter's halftime speech.

The Boilermakers coach was so loud that coach Bruce Weber said he could not only be heard in the Illinois locker room, but his message was loud and clear.

"We heard Matt get after them pretty strong two locker rooms away," he said. "He said, 'You've got to get it inside. The heck with 3-pointers.'"
