Purdue in the driver's seat now

Because teams can't afford to ignore guard E'Twaun Moore and wing Robbie Hummel, most defenses are perplexed trying to deal with Johnson. That dilemma is not lost on Illini coach Bruce Weber, who will try to concoct something for Saturday's encounter.

"The problem is, if everybody on his team plays well, it's tough to double [JaJuan Johnson]," Weber said. "They are getting out in transition, they are pushing the ball more than walking it up and Johnson runs so well he gets some isolations on the break."
